After their thrilling tour to the Rhineland this summer, the Essex Youth Orchestra is set to perform at Saffron Hall.
Enjoy masterpieces like Khachaturian’s ‘Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia‘ (from the second Spartacus Suite composed in 1955), Shostakovich’s Suite for Jazz Orchestra No. 2 composed in 1938, and Michael Giacchino’s music to the 2013 film Star Trek Into Darkness.
Clarinet soloist Nathan Quilter, a former member of Essex Youth Orchestra and current undergraduate at the Royal College of Music will perform Viktor’s Tale (from the film The Terminal) by John Williams.
