Taking inspiration from Harrison Birtwhistle’s Pulse Sampler, young composers are invited to write for a trio (oboe, saxophone and percussion).
Led by composer David Horne, young composers can expect to:
- Compose for the unusual combination of the above trio
- Produce music with a strong rhythmic focus
- Gather ideas from Harrison Birtwhistle’s work
