New and experienced vocalists welcome!
Young singers across Essex are invited to take part in an exciting, high-energy vocal workshop and performance day this summer. Whether your child is taking their very first musical steps or already loves to sing, this inclusive community vocal event promises inspiration, challenge and fun in equal measure.
- Sunday 5 July 2026
- FitzWimarc School, Rayleigh
- 10am to 6pm (Performance: 5pm to 5.30pm)
- Suitable for ages 8-18 years
The session will guide participants through a full day of singing, vocal skills and ensemble work, culminating in a celebratory performance for family and friends.
We’re especially encouraging young people who have taken part in school vocal festivals to join us. If your child enjoyed those experiences, this is the perfect way to build on them!
You can expect:
- A welcoming, supportive environment. No prior singing experience needed
- Opportunities for more experienced singers to challenge and develop their skills
- Confidence building activities, musicianship and teamwork
- A fantastic end-of-day performance to showcase what’s been achieved
This day is also part of a wider ambition to build a vibrant Essex Youth Choir, making it a perfect opportunity to get involved at the very beginning of something special.
