Community Music Charges
Instrumental Music Lessons and Group music-making
Detailed below are the fees and charges Essex Music Service charge for the delivery of instrumental tuition and group music-making activities within community settings.
All charges can be subsidised by Arts Council England funding for all eligible families. If you think you may be eligible, please indicate this at the point of application. For more information of our Financial Assistance, please visit our webpage.
Each programme runs for 10 weeks (one term)

| Band-It! (group rock band lesson) | £70.00 | £35.00 |
| Specialist ensemble* | £70.00 | £35.00 |
| Open Ensemble* | £40.00 | £20.00 |
| Ensemble Pass | £80.00 | £40.00 |
*the District Lead Tutor and/or District Support Assistant at your chosen venue will be able to advise as to which ensemble best suits your child according to what each venue offers.
Provision continues on a termly basis. Notice to stop lessons must be given by the end of the half-term break before the end of the term where tuition would stop:
- October half-term to finish at Christmas
- February half-term to finish at Easter
- May half-term to finish at the Summer break
