Autism, Neurodiversity & Inclusive Music-Making

Small changes can make a significant difference to a pupil’s experience of music. Explore practical approaches that can help neurodivergent learners participate successfully in listening, singing, playing, improvisation and composition. We’ll consider communication, sensory experiences, predictability, choice and different ways of responding musically, with a focus on recognising individual strengths and creating opportunities for meaningful participation.
