What does genuine inclusion look like in a music lesson? Explore practical strategies for ensuring pupils with different abilities, needs and starting points can participate meaningfully and experience musical success. We’ll consider adaptive teaching, choice of instruments, alternative ways of responding, technology, group work and appropriate challenge. The aim is not for every child to do exactly the same thing, but for every child to make meaningful musical progress.
