Schools are invited to enjoy a special performance of The Snowman, with the Essex Youth Orchestra. They will be performing Howard Blake’s iconic soundtrack live alongside a screening of the film.
Pupils will discover how music brings stories to life, and school choirs can take part in evening performances of Walking in the Air and festive favourites.

We are also looking for school choirs to perform in the vocal pieces that will be part of The Snowman concert. The performance at Saffron Hall has spaces, so do let us know if your school choir would be interested!
Pupils will sing backed by a full symphony orchestra. Schools will be asked to arrive from 4pm for a rehearsal from 4.30pm-5.30pm. A public performance will be from 6.30pm-7.30pm.
Attendance at a performance / choir participation are free for Essex DfE-funded schools. Classroom resources will also be provided to support learning. Schools are responsible for transport costs.
