Witham Community Music Centre

Music lessons, bands, ensembles and music theatre. Help your child develop musical skills, confidence and friendships through fun, weekly music-making opportunities in Witham. Whether they’re just starting out or already play an instrument, we offer a welcoming environment where young musicians can learn and perform together. We also offer a music theatre group.

At a glance:

• Ages: 5 to 18 (some sessions are aimed at specific ages)
• When: Tuesday and Wednesday after school (term time)
• Where: Lift Maltings, Spinks Lane, Witham

How your child can get involved

• Individual Lessons – One-to-one instrumental and vocal tuition tailored to each student.
• Rock Band (Ages 9 to 18) Play popular music, develop ensemble skills and perform as part of a band. Wednesdays 4.30pm to 5pm. (£70). Register for Rock Band.
• Music Theatre (ages 11-18) with Emma Sweeney vocal coach and Music Theatre specialist. Six sessions per term working towards an end of term performance. Tuesdays 6pm to 7.30pm (£40)
  Dates for Autumn Term – September 15 and 29, October 13, November 3 and 17 and December 1. Register for Music Theatre.

New to music?

No previous experience is needed. We welcome children at all stages of their musical journey and can help you find the right opportunity for your child.

How to join

1. Register your interest below for either instrumental tuition or ensembles (Rock Band and Music Theatre).
2. Tell us about your child’s musical interests.
3. We’ll contact you to discuss suitable options and availability.
